Collection: Don Bristow - Fractal Art

Don Bristow, a 70-year-old artist, has been a photographer since 1977 and a fractal artist since 2007. Inspired by mathematics, he blends math and photography, creating complex, high-resolution fractal art. Bristow's meticulous process, taking 2-3 weeks per piece, aims to elevate fractal art's acceptance. A proud moment came when a young boy pursued art after seeing his work. Despite criticism, Bristow's art is displayed at the College of Pharmacy, Muntz Library at UT Tyler, and Gold Leaf Gallery in Tyler, fostering appreciation for the beauty of mathematics through disciplined artistry.
